Our Policies
We believe in creating a counselling service that is safe, ethical, and transparent.
Our policies outline how we work and how we protect you.
Privacy and Data Protection.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Any information you share is stored securely and used only for the purpose of delivering counselling services.
We comply fully with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). You have the right to access, amend, or request deletion of your data at any time.
Safeguarding.
We have a legal and ethical responsibility to protect children, young people, and vulnerable adults. If we believe someone is at risk of harm, we may need to share information with safeguarding professionals.
This is always done with care and, where possible, with your knowledge.
Confidentiality.
Everything shared in counselling is confidential, except where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or where the law requires disclosure.
We will always aim to discuss this with you first.
Terms of Service.
Sessions are offered online via secure video platform.
Payment is required before each session.
We ask for 48 hours’ notice for cancellations.
Counselling is not a crisis service. If urgent help is needed, please use the contacts listed on our Crisis Support page.
Equal Opportunities.
We welcome and respect clients of all backgrounds, identities, and beliefs. Our service is inclusive, non-judgmental, and committed to fairness.
